We hear it all the time, how much detox can I do? The answer depends on your body and your lifestyle. At Well Suite MN, we always remind our clients that hydration is the key to everything.
Start with Balance
If you’re wondering how much detox can I do in a single day, two services is plenty. Water and electrolytes help your body move through the detox process smoothly. Most of us need more water and fewer carbonated or caffeinated drinks. You don’t have to give up your morning coffee, just add more water or a hydration drink throughout the day.
Listen to Your Body
Your body will tell you when it’s had enough. You might notice a dull headache or some queasiness if you’re not hydrated enough. The more often you practice any type of detox, the better your body adjusts. Over time, you can build up to sauna sessions multiple times a week or add daily red light therapy.
Finding Your Routine
When clients ask how much detox can I do each week, I tell them to start small. Even one session a week is great. Twice a month is still beneficial. You can add in other modalities like castor oil packs, foot detoxes, or acupressure mats as your body gets used to it.
Consistency Over Perfection
We suggest no more than two foot detoxes per week. After a foot detox, your body stays in a heightened state of detox for up to three days. Listen to your body and let it guide you.
