Red light therapy has been a game changer for me.

Let me start by saying, I’m not a typical go to the spa kind of girl, I do not do things to pamper myself, so honestly had not taken advantage of many of the services offered at Well Suite. Then, I sprained my ankle. A month after spraining it, it was still swollen considerably. Jenny suggested I try the red light therapy bed she has. I figured, what do I have to loose? I gave it a shot and after only two sessions the swelling is almost all the way down!! I did nothing else other than the red light therapy so I know that is the reason it is going down. I can’t say enough about it, I am so thankful! And the bonus is it’s soooo relaxing. Go see Jenny at Well Suite soon!

I suffer from a chronic health condition – fibromyalgia, which has multiple symptoms for which there is little relief. Most prominent for me are pain throughout the body, fatigue, and cognition issues. The fatigue is not just being tired from a lack of sleep, it’s a deep, on-going state and I needed a nap (or 2) to get through every day. I’d seen Well Suite’s social media promotion and Jenny’s own testimonial on how the infrared sauna helped her so much for her fibromyalgia, so I thought I’d give it a try.

After hearing more about how the IR sauna works, I was a little apprehensive as to how I’d tolerate the heat. Jenny reassured me that the heat from this type of sauna was more easily tolerated, and to use it for a shorter period of time if it got too intense. During my first session, I was able to use it for the full 30 minutes and I didn’t feel overwhelmed by the heat. Already the next morning, I could tell that my mind was clearer, and I had more energy – no naps that first day or the next 5 days until my next appointment! The effectiveness of this treatment has been life changing for me! It is not a cure, and I continue to do 30-minute sessions every 10-14 days. The relief I’ve experienced has allowed me to be more fully present in my relationships, given me a boost in my energy so that I can enjoy my hobbies (I can’t wait for gardening season) and, most importantly, given me hope that there IS something that can make me feel more ‘normal’.

I’m so grateful that I saw the Well Suite Facebook post AND that I made the decision to stop and talk to Jenny and had the courage to try something different.

Well Suite has become a safe haven, a refuge for my mind, body and soul. And for that I am thankful! As a mom of 4, a wife, a full time employee and a woman that struggles with anxiety and depression, who is always going and always giving to everyone but myself. I have come to realize that self-care is giving the world the best version of myself instead of what’s left of me. It's not selfish to love yourself, take care of yourself, and to make your happiness a priority. It's necessary. Well Suite has provided me with the gift of being able to slow down with self-care. I absolutely love the grounding and how the simplicity of a sauna allows me to slow down in life to refocus, refuel and be refreshed. During my self-care time I enjoy to my favorite music, to listen uninterrupted to a podcast, to read a book and breathe in deep, to take time to reflect through  journaling, to pray, to disconnect with the world around me and connect with myself. To breathe in deep and to find thankfulness in all things. Having forty minutes to myself each week has been a game changer for me both personally and professionally. Improving my emotional well-being and also impacting how I feel physically. Thank you for providing a much needed haven in Marshall, from the staff to the services I am so GLAD YOU ARE HERE! Well Suite is a gathering place for friends…the greatest friends are said to be the ones you don’t have to talk to all the time but that are able to pick up right where they left off when they get together. Well Suite is a meeting place of community that provides the opportunity for connection filled with the holy spirit guiding.

I have been coming to Well Suite since August of last year (2022) and to say that I am addicted is an understatement! I have tried all three saunas and have done several foot detoxes, but I have to say my favorite is definitely the infrared sauna with red light therapy! 

 

When I first heard about Well Suite I didn’t think I would like the sauna because I’m a big baby when I’m hot, however there’s somethings so soothing and calming about just slowing down and investing in myself in a healthy way. I thought I would get bored or restless in the sauna but it feels like time just flies as soon as I get in there. I am sad when my time is up because I could stay in the sauna all day! 

 

I have been using the sauna anywhere from 1 to 4 times a week for months now and it has been almost life-changing for me. My sleep has improved, my joint pain has lessened, but the biggest difference I have noticed is with my mental health. I have generalized anxiety disorder as well as depression and the changes that I have seen are remarkable. I’ve struggled with my mental health since I was a child and I can honestly say that I haven’t felt this good in my entire life. I have many tools as well as medications to manage these issues but I still struggle on a regular basis. I have prayed for years that I could find anything to help during difficult days and the sauna has been an answer to prayer. Words cannot express how thankful I am to have Well Suite in my life. 

 

In addition to how amazing I feel, my other favorite part of Well Suite definitely has to be Jenny. She is such a kind soul, and you can just see the Holy Spirit in her. Over the course of the last few months I have gotten to know her well and I’m so thankful to call her my friend. She also has the sweetest girls working for her.

 

If you haven’t had a chance to check out Well Suite, do it! I promise you will love it!

I have been on a health journey for 10 weeks. I started at Well Suite 9 weeks ago to see if the health benefits that are advertised would suit my goals with my journey. I have noticed a major increase in my energy, my overall mood has been better (very minimal winter blues), I have had less headaches, my muscles feel better, and overall I feel stronger! Investing in your health for any reason is never a mistake. I’m so thankful for Well Suite! I look forward to my appointments every time!

I love going to the sauna. It has helped with my arm pain. It has so many benefits. I sleep better and just feel better all the way around. The staff at Well Suite is extremely wonderful!! They are helpful and remember who you are. I would recommend this to anyone.

I have been going to Well Suite two times a week for a few months now. After a long day of work, it's a wonderful way to relax. There are many health benefits to using the sauna but my favorite benefit is better sleep! I have struggled with getting a good night's sleep for years. Since I started using the infrared red sauna with red light therapy my sleep has improved. I wake up feeling rested.

I have been going to Well Suite for about 6 months now on a weekly basis and WOW has it changed me mentally and physically!

Mentally, winters can be hard and as a mom of 3. If I can get 40 minutes alone at Well Suite, that is heaven! I have time to reflect, meditate, and pray. Even if it’s two sessions a week, it helps me be a better mom and wife!

Physically, the deep heat is refreshing, I can feel my muscles relax. Living here where we have fewer warm days and more cold, the sweat feels rejuvenating. The days I sauna, my sleep is the best sleep I have all week and I can tell a huge difference in my skin and any inflammation in my body.

It’s definitely become an addiction and I’m thankful for Well Suite and the benefits to my overall health!

I began using the Himalayan salt sauna to soothe my skin during a prolonged bout with hives. A few days after my first session I realized that I hadn’t needed any steroid cream; after a month of weekly sessions my scarred skin was well on its way to healing.

I was scared to try the sauna. I’m claustrophobic and absolutely hate breathing in hot air. Jenny explained that I could step out at any time or even crack the door open for a bit if the heat was too much for me. My anxiety turned to peace and now I look forward to spending my time in the sauna, breathing deeply and sweating my stress away!

I had received some sessions as a gift, and drug my feet on going because I actually don’t like being hot at all. First session was a little tough on me because the last time I felt heat like that and had a reaction such as sweating and those uncomfortable feelings was during a deployment to Iraq. By the end of my first session I was ready to get out of there. It was a good step into dealing with some unresolved PTSD. That night I had the best sleep I’ve ever had and my skin felt amazing.

I continued to go as the benefits got better and better. I was able to focus on me, it’s quiet in the sauna and I changed my attitude of sweating and being hot as doing something great for my body. As I was sweating I was letting go of things and by the end of the sessions I always feel energized and over all good. Sleep was happening easier and better! I had gotten a cold at one point and sat in the Himalayan salt sauna and almost instantly felt better. My favorite sauna is the red light sauna just because the red light feels amazing and I always feel like I’m coming out of an embrace from a really good hug afterwards.

I would suggest sauna therapy to anyone. Especially a mom who needs some time to herself to just sit in the quiet and focus on her. It does wonders for your mental health!! “
